    RDC Activities
    Most important project in the last 3 years (started or completed) having impact on cluster development including results, source of funding and approx. budget.Bio-Inno is a joint project between Helsinki University of Technology and University of Helsinki which studies and develops business competence and innovation activity in bio- and bio-oriented companies. The project will be realized in cooperation with Stanford University and Berlin University of Technology. The project started in the beginning of the year 2009 and will continue until the end of the year 2010. The total budget of the project is 920 000 Euros.
    Pharmaceutical Gateway China-Finland/Europe is a cooperative HealthBio Cluster spearhead project of the University of Kuopio and Kuopio Innovation Ltd. Its overall aim is to increase pharmaceutical cooperation between Finland and China. Finnish and Chinese universities, pharmaceutical companies and development organizations are participating in this programme.
    his national spearhead project (2009-2011) works to realize the plans of "Measurement of human being" of the HealthBio program. It aims at the development of novel, cost-efficient, disposable antibody-based printable biosensor technology mainly applicable for human diagnostics. It aims to connect bio-, nano- and information technologies with the needs of diagnostics industry.
